Originating in the Veneto region, its name translates to “pick me up,” referencing its invigorating blend of coffee and cocoa. While the exact origins are debated, it's widely believed to have been created in the 1960s in the city of Treviso. Tiramisu quickly became a favorite throughout Italy and beyond, known for its delicate layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, rich mascarpone cream, and a dusting of cocoa powder.
